Department of Estate Management & Valuation

The Department started with the name, Department of Estate Management in October, 1990 and with a handful of staff in temporary site along Birnin Kebbi- Kalgo road which was later converted to Cabinet office.

The initial take-off of the Department commenced with National Diploma and a total number of sixty-five students, since then, the Department has grown in all areas such as in students’ population, qualified staff and in term of infrastructural facilities.

The Department turned out her first National Diploma graduates in 1992/1993 academic session with a total number of fifty seven students.

As the Institution is expanding in all facets of her endeavors, the Management of the Institution approved the establishment of Higher National Diploma in Estate Management in the year 2001/2002 academic session with the population of fifty one students and in the year 2002/2003 academic session the first set of forty seven students of Higher National Diploma graduated.

The name of the Department was changed to Estate Management and Valuation in 2016 following the approval given to all Tertiary Institutions by the coordinating Parastatals and Ministry such as;Estate Surveyors and
