Department of Business Administration

The Department dated back to 1980 and is saddledwith the onus of running programmes leading to the award of National Diploma and Higher National Diploma in Business Administration and Management, respectively.

Historically, the Department appears to be a pioneer in the college, and it is reputed to have produced scores of graduates from various disciplines. Notably, Business studies, Business Administration, Marketing, and Purchasing and Supply.

The first accreditation exercise took place in 1985, where the NBTE granted the Department initial accreditation. Since then, the Department has been up to date having our last accreditation in 2018, and we have been admitting qualified students and graduating them using the NBTE guidelines and regulations.

The staff strength is adequate (qualitatively and quantitatively), and their commitment to lecturing is never in doubt. Presently, the Department has 21 number of academic staff with at least 95% of them holding master degrees and above in their various disciplines. It is equally pertinent to note that these galaxies of intellectuals equally belong to various refutable professional bodies.

We are proud to say that our students have lived up to expectation judging by the reports from their various employers and their performances in various institutions of learning within and outside Nigeria.
